Caia versus Chimuara football match - an activity to increase awareness about the vulnerability of children, in terms of sexual abuse and other forms of exploitation, in high transit areas as well as near worker camps. A new bridge is planned for construction across the Zambezi Rivers between Caia and Chimaura. Although this bridge will bring lots of benefits to the area, Save the Children UK is concerned about the the exploitation of children, such as these footballers, who will live nearby workers camps. 15. I am impressed with the inclusion of children in Save the Children UK community meetings. This child sat along with adults as the community learned about the responsibilities and possibilities that come along with receiving the grant money

18. One of Save the Children's programs offer small grants to local community groups who compete for money for services and programs to enrich the lives of the children in the community. This is one of many photos where I try to put a complex face on the children of Zambezia province
19. A young boy selling dried fish at the crossing of the Zambezi River. The only way to cross the big river is to take a ferry. Travelers on either side wait for the ferry and boys such as this take advantage of the delayed travelers. However, this waiting has also lead to increased incidents of sexual abuse of children (like this one). Save the Children UK is working on increasing police presence in the area and providing services to the children
20. The young child in red followed me around the entire day! He seemed to make it in almost every frame. Instead of playing where's Waldo. My partner and I tried to find the boy in read in each of the photos I took!

23. This farm was once a gravel pit for road construction. After the completion of the road, the pit was leveled and turned into a productive farm
24. Taken at sunset - this is the old dock on the river - there are many old derelict boats on either side of the pier. It is still used for ferry crossings.
