    About Mansir Petrie: 'I am a professional photographer and development consultant and live in Quelimane, Mozambique - the Paris of Mozambique. In addition to taking photographs for local NGos, such as World Vision and Save the Children UK, I love taking shots of the people I come across as I do consultancy work in the field. I like to explore faces, shading, focal points, angles and movement.'

    21: I took a series of photos of boat builders on the river Bons Sinais (good omens) in Quelimane. This man is a welder and metal worker. Welding is the main repair tool for barges that carry smoked and dried coconuts to the local Quelimane factory
