A Cameroon-Egypt final wasn't what most soccer analysts predicted. According to the form books, Ivory Coast was the pre-tournament favourite; and a Ghana-Ivory Coast final was the dream final for many soccer fans. However, Egypt's 4:2 trashing of Cameroon in their group opener, made them one of the teams to look out for. Most people didn't give Cameroon a dog's change of advancing to the finals. However, after beating the host nation they secured their place in the final to meet Egypt for the second time in the tournament.

Many Ghanaians have predicted a convincing win for Egypt. But could this be a case of sour grapes since Cameroon eliminated Ghana from the final?
